About the Program
The McDonough High School Theatre
Department produces two full length plays every year. The fall
production is a straight play (non-musical) and in the spring a musical
production is performed. Before each production auditions are held to
fill the acting and technical positions. Students who are active in
theatre can become members of the school’s International Thespian Troupe
which produces one act plays each year. Recent plays the theatre
department has done include
Grease,
Beauty and
the Beast,
